Pastor Nomthi at the December 5 Thursday Showers service reminded the congregation about their triumph in Christ even in the face of trials and challenges, noting that they should not be afraid to confront challenges and declare God’s Word to their situations. “Christ has caused us to triumph,” she said.
Citing 2 Corinthians 2, Pastor Nomthi said that forgiveness plays a major role in accessing our triumph in Christ. “No situation can hold you down as long as you have forgiveness. You will tell your story without any form of bitterness. Then, God will always fight your battles no matter how warped the system is. Your only weapon is forgiveness,” she stated.
