Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has charged believers to consciously live by the blood of Jesus Christ, which is the blood of the covenant, and appropriate its power in every situation confronting them. He said this at the March 31 Family Sunday service. According to him, God’s intention is for believers to tackle the devil and overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
Speaking from Revelation 12:11, he noted that those who are born again will always overcome by the blood of Jesus and by the word of their testimony. “As Christians, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the testimony of the finished work of Christ. The blood of Jesus is the only thing that can restore everything that the devil has stolen,” he stated.
He, therefore, urged the congregation to get into the Word of God and keep confessing it, irrespective of the situation. This, he said, would protect them from the deceits of the devil. “The blood doesn’t speak fear or deceit. So speak what the blood speaks and see situations turn around,” he said.
