Pastor Taiwo in his message at the April 25 Thursday Showers service said that ignorance and mere mental knowledge are major reasons some believers cannot live in the reality of the new creation. That is why, according to him, such suffer lack in the midst of abundance.
Speaking from 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Pastor Taiwo said that a complete change in nature occurs when one becomes born again, but lack of knowledge and understanding of this new creation will hinder one from maximizing it. “God gave you His nature at salvation, so fear has no right in your new nature. But if you don’t know that, you can never benefit fully from this new nature,” Pastor Taiwo stated.
Pastor Taiwo then implored them to be conscious of their new nature in Christ and be bold to express it in their daily living.
