As a Christian, when the power of God has come upon you, you have the ability to become all He wants you to be. It does not matter what the enemy does or says, your life is in the hands of God. Pastor Taiwo stated this on Sunday, June 16 as he continued his teaching on ‘The Fellowship of the Holy Spirit’.
Taking his texts from Acts 1:4-8, Ephesians 3:20, 2 Corinthians 2:14 and Ephesians 2:4, he stated that grace opens doors for God’s children but relationship (fellowship) is the only way He (God) can reach them, explaining that fellowship means sharing, participation and partnership.
Pastor Taiwo noted that fellowship is not a one-sided thing; the believer has to be involved in order to receive maximally from God, adding that one receives the power of the Holy Spirit by being in Christ. “You can’t have Jesus as a partner and still be a failure,” he said.
He, therefore, urged all to open their hearts for the Holy Spirit to work through and in them so that they would enjoy the many fruits of the Spirit.
