Sharing from the scripture for the month, Esther 8:16-17, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya at the September 19 Thursday Showers said that there is need for believers to know who and whose they are as this understanding would inform their behaviour and lifestyle which would make people desire their God.
Pastor Taiwo explained that Joy, which is a major fruit of the Spirit, should always be exhibited by a believer. This, he said, can be achieved when believers walk in the Spirit who is the source of Joy. “The Holy Spirit is the source of Joy and it is only when you walk in the Spirit that He will help you operate the fruit.
The senior pastor, therefore, urged them to live conscious of their identity in Christ as this aids their victorious living. “Regardless of how fierce the battle is, there will always be a miracle because God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly. Yours is an overcoming life. You are an overcomer through the blood of Jesus,” he said.
