While admonishing the congregation at the October 27 Sunday service from Deuteronomy 31:8 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi said that God’s children need not fear nor be dismayed because the Lord would always be with them and would not leave them nor forsake them. “What an assurance! He is with you and that is why you are here,” she said.
Pastor Nomthi noted that the fact that previous challenges had not overwhelmed her listeners showed that no matter the challenges they face, they would always overcome. In her words, “A big surprise party has been planned for you by God. The seeming distractions you are experiencing are to make sure you get surprised when the blessings come. Sometimes you don’t understand what is happening to you but the Lord who knows and has gone ahead of you to prepare the blessings will not leave you. He is with you and is working with you.”
She then urged them to be confident in the assurance of God’s presence with them and always thank Him for the blessings He is bringing to them.
