There would always be a contest in life, but as a believer, you should never get upset or frigid, because God has a special plan for your life. He has chosen you for something. Speaking from Genesis 28:10-22; 27:41, he noted that giving in to anger over the situations of life would lead believers to the place of bitterness or vengeance. This, he said, would hinder God from fighting for them. In his words, “Don’t allow anger drive you to the place of vengeance thereby making you to leave God out of the contest. If God has kept you till now, then He can solve your problems. He still has the sovereignty.”
He then advised them to always focus on the Word of God because it is the key to revealing God’s open heaven and blessing. “The more you focus on the logos—the Word of God, the more it becomes rhema to you; then impossibilities begin to turn to possibilities,” he stated.
