I attended Showers for the first time in 2012 and it was an awesome experience for me. The fact that it is an interdenominational worship service touched me. Worship was undiluted and the Holy Spirit moved. Since then, I have been attending Showers.
I always look forward to the praise and worship session. I also do not like to miss the communion. In fact, the communion always makes me look forward to the next Thursday Showers experience.
Then, the promises we pick is always a Word in season, soothing my every need. The sermon is always different. It has a different feel from the regular Sunday service. Even if you don’t want to hear it, you would just take it unknowingly because it would hit you at the right spot.
In all, my experience at the Thursday Showers has always been blissful and exciting in the presence of God.
