Bimbo Odukoya Foundation is a not-for-profit organization in Nigeria that provides information, resources, support and training for women and youths, particularly young girls in disadvantaged communities across Nigeria. Through our Initiatives, the foundation reached 7,405 beneficiaries. Please find the key activities below:

Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention (SHARP):

During the 60th anniversary celebration of Iganmode Grammar School, Sango Ota, Ogun State, 7119 students, and 125 corps members were sensitized on sexual harassment and rape prevention.

Peer Education for Prefects (PEP):

161 prefects from Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar Jnr/Snr School, Estate Senior Grammar School, Ilupeju Senior Secondary School, Zumratul Islamiyah Jnr/Snr High School, and Herbert Macaulay Girls Senior Secondary School, were trained on “Personality Development and Personal Goal Setting”

Eko FM Youth Angle:

In a survey of Commercial Sex Workers (CSW), almost two-thirds (63%) of the respondents admitted to becoming sex workers before the age of 19. The Eko FM Youth Angle extensively discussed the prevalence pf CSWs among teenagers; the factors responsible for the increasing number, the socio-economic effect, responsibility of government, parents, religious organisations, community leaders and solutions were proffered on how youths can be enlightened about the ills of CSW.

Education Support:

Eight (8) girls and two (2) boys received education support for the second school term and external examination fees as well.
