Using Psalm 46:1 to admonish the online participants at the May 21 Thursday Showers, Pastor Taiwo said that God is always the tested and proven Help and He is always available in times of trouble.
According to him, God’s help doesn’t discriminate, noting that it is available to anyone who calls on Him irrespective of their status, stature, gender, race, position or situation.
“God will always help you. That’s His nature,” he said.
Using the account of the Good Samaritan recorded in Luke 10:25-37 and David in I Samuel 30:10-16 as examples, he said that human beings have been created to be interdependent whereby each one will need the help of another at one point in their lives.
Pastor Taiwo said: “We will all need help of some sort at one time in our lives. You are here today because you got help from people who stuck with you through many challenges and troubles until you found your footings.
“And ultimately, God gave you the grace to achieve all you’ve achieved. So, God is a helper and will direct your step across your destiny helpers.”
He, therefore, urged them from Matthew 11:12 and 7:7 never to give up on God and to also show kindness to someone as those are ways to receive help from God.
“Forgive easily, don’ belittle anyone because you don’t know who God will use for you. Also, confess God’s help for
you always. Help awaits you in Zion, rather than running away from Him, run to Him and He will help you,” he urged.
