Speaking from Hebrews 12:2, Pastor Taiwo at the August 13 Thursday showers said that faith is required for believers to please God, noting that the lack of it offends God more than anything. According to the man of God, faith is the bridge that connects faiths to reality and the basis for everything on earth. “The beginning of offending God is to doubt Him,” he said.
Pastor Taiwo further said that a God-kind of faith propels positive confessions from believers as it builds in their hearts the unfailing nature of God irrespective of the circumstances. This kind of faith, he said, can be built when one develops an intimate relationship with God’s word.
Also speaking from Romans 4:17-20 and Hebrews 11:11, Pastor Taiwo noted that having absolute trust in God even when there is no physical manifestation of their miracle yet is the God kind of faith. This faith, he said, pleases God. “Wavering on God’s promises for you is doubting God”
He then urged them from Hebrews 12:1-2 to continually hang their faith on God for the fulfilment of His promise over them no matter what happens. “Don’t get distracted on the things going on around you, focus on Jesus the author your faith. You can enjoy everything when you have faith in God.
