THE LORD IS OUR GREAT SHEPHERD
The life of David in the bible shows his level of relationship with God. As a shepherd himself, he understood, by relationship, that God is the good, living and great Shepherd who laid His life for His sheep, including him. That’s why he declared in Psalm 23 that he shall not lack anything – protection, favour, mercy, provision, and guidance.
As a child of God too, you have access to God’s provision, protection, guidance and anointing. You are blessed with all blessings and cannot lack anything because the Lord is your Shepherd.
You only need to understand and be convinced of His love for you and His faithfulness in taking care of you; live by the principles of dwelling on His word, and confessing your conviction of Him being your source of strength as David did. Cultivate a close relationship with God so that you too can be bold to declare that the Lord is your shepherd. You need to know that you’re q covenant child of God.
God is a covenant-keeping God who speaks in covenant terms with His children and if you believe in Him, you have access because He is the door.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BLESSED LIFE AND AN UNBLESSED LIFE
You will get all your needs by meditating on the word of God (1 Corinthians 1:30, Matthew 6: 31-32).
WHEN THE LORD IS YOUR SHEPHERD
The shepherd knows us beyond your needs. He makes sure you have everything you need. He loves us personally. Regardless of what the situation says or what anyone says God loves you specially. He will never give up on you. His is a reckless love.
