Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has urged believers not to think less of themselves because of their circumstances or because of their contemporaries who seem to have gone ahead of them; noting that everyone has their time for divine visitation in the kingdom. He made this known at the December 20 Sunday service.
He said, “The fact that it is not yet doesn’t mean it won’t be done. Everyone has a time, your time will come. It may be the 11th hour but it will come. If you manifest before your time, it doesn’t help the kingdom. God has enough time to do what He wants to do with you.”
Taking his bible reference from Mathew 20:1-16, Exodus 14:11-12, Exodus 14:1-4, and Exodus 14:15, the Senior Pastor said that God will not set His own up and won’t attach time to fulfil that purpose. “The moment you begin to believe, your reward will start counting. The strength of God will ensure total perfection in your life. God must be honoured in that which you are looking for.” He noted.
Pastor Taiwo also pointed out that believers should allow God be glorified over their lives, stating that whatever would not make His name to be glorified in their lives is not worth having.
Using himself as an example, he said that no child of God should love or be interested in things that will not give glory to God. “I don’t want any promotion that will not honour God,” he stated.
He then charged the church to desist from habits such that they come to church without returning home with something.
