Using Hannah’s prayer recorded in 1 Samuel 2:7-8 to encourage the congregation at the December 20 Sunday service, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya said that God is awesome and He always come through for His children no matter what they are going through.
According to the Associate Senior Pastor, the Lord who created the world and holds it up with pillars that cannot be seen will never forget His own irrespective of their circumstances, noting that He will visit them accordingly and make them laugh just as it happened to Hannah. “It is only God that makes sure you are rich and fruitful. God can reverse any situation any time and He will reverse your situation in Jesus’ name,” she said.
She therefore encouraged the worshippers to key into God’s words concerning them and be bold to declare it. “Declare what you want to see. God is never tired of listening to you. He will lift you up and not bring you down. So, don’t concentrate on the negative,” she urged.
