There is no room for despair, what is important is that you are a branch in the Vine.
These were the words of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya during the December 17 Thursday Showers. According to him, every believer who remain as a branch in Jesus will continue to bear fruits that will remain.
“If you are truly born again, you are a branch in the Vine and bearing fruit is automatic,” he said.
Speaking from John 15:1-7, John 15:16, and John 14:5-12, the clergy said that God cares particularly for the downtrodden and that there is no room for envy and jealousy in the lives of believers who want to bear fruits.
He further noted that taking God by His word, running with those words and living in faith are ways to keep abiding in Christ. “If you abide in God, he will do whatever you request from Him. Even if everything is contrary, the just shall live by faith,” he said.
The Senior Pastor thereafter urged them to remain as branches on the Vine as that is when they will become fruitful. In his words, “There is a higher place for you. And this is what pleases the father that you continue to bear fruits and much fruits and that the fruit will remain.”
He thereafter declared to the worshippers that they will bear fruits which will continue to remain. “You will bear fruits spiritually, you will bear fruits emotionally, and you will bear fruits physically. You will affect your generation in the name of Jesus,” he declared.
