Having absolute faith in God always yield great benefits just as it yielded for both Abraham and Isaac.
The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, stated this while teaching on Abraham, whose faith in God was so absolute that he left a familiar territory to an unfamiliar one. Pastor Taiwo also cited the example of Isaac, who heeded God’s instructions to stay in Gerar instead of fleeing to Egypt.
Addressing the congregation at the April 11 Sunday service on the topic, ‘By faith’, the clergy insisted that faith is absolute trust in God. He noted that this does not mean there won’t be moments of doubts, but faith still trusts God totally and obeys Him despite all odds.
Pastor Taiwo asserted, “Abraham must have experienced his moments of doubts, but he still obeyed God and trusted Him anyway. Faith is how we are expected to live our lives. You cannot obey without faith.”
Speaking from Hebrews 11 and Genesis 26, Pastor Taiwo further posited that when believers trust and obey God in possessing their possession, they will reap the benefit because God doesn’t call one to possess their possessions without already making available the possessions.
“When God calls you into your possession, He gives you total package,” he added.
Pastor Taiwo, therefore, urged the worshippers not to lose their faith in God as it has a great reward.
