#WEC2021 Day 4: Bishop Harold Ray Reveals Keys to Possessing Your Divine Inheritance

Bishop Harold Ray of the Redemptive Life Fellowship, Florida, graced the podium on Day 4 of the 2021 Word Explosion Conference. Speaking on the sermon titled, “Possessing your Divine Inheritance”, he took his theme scripture from the book of Ephesians 1:10-16. Bishop, in his message, asserted that a divine inheritance is what God has set aside through His decree that should come to believers.

According to his text, Bishop Ray noted that this is the best season of appropriating God’s inheritance as His covenant children. “God is bringing a merger of things in heaven and on earth to equip us to move in the area of our assignment like never before, creating a new alignment,” he said.

The clergy added that even scientists have observed that for the first time, since the birth of Jesus, there is a planetary alignment that has given them a reason to believe that something is about to happen. He ascribed spiritually as God opening the portals of heaven and orchestrating things to align for us in possessing what God has in mind for us from eternity.

Giving the Greek word of “Creation” as “Kairos”, which also means Uncommon, Bishop Ray stated that God is set in these times to position us with a ‘Kairos’ anointing which will make us walk in the uncommon things of God.

Citing Ephesians 1:11, he said, we already have an inheritance in Christ, and Now is the best time to possess it as there is a divine order of meeting up with our destiny to dominate here on earth and partake of Christ’s reign.

Bishop Ray gave four keys that are relevant in possessing our possessions as;

  1. Divine Paraclete: This means the one who stands beside (The Holy Spirit). Reading from John 14:26, he noted that apart from the Holy Spirit teaching and guiding us, and He also brings all things to our remembrance. This is better activated when we speak in tongues and create a consistent intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will make you know “who you are before you became who you are”, he said.
  1. Divine Perspective: The word of God remains “Ye and Amen”, and with this understanding, our perspective should be built on what God has already promised us. Referencing Psalms 89:35, Numbers 23:19 and Ephesians 1:18-20, Bishop said our viewpoint should be framed by faith. He explained that in Hebrew 11:3, God had commanded our days a blessing through His order.
  1. Divine Positioning: God has positioned us above all distractions, turbulence and trouble that might want to hinder us from possessing our possession.
  1. Divine Power: 2 Peter 1:3 says, “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of His marvellous glory and excellence” [NLT].

In concluding his sermon, Bishop Harold Ray gave insight on things to look forward to when walking in our divine inheritance. These, he said, are;

  1. Revelation: Citing Ephesians 1:7, he explained revelation as God speaking to us from the eternal into the temporal realm, which directs us into our divine destiny. “Revelation is unveiling a bit of God’s mind to activate the plan of God in our lives,” he said.
  1. Acceleration: Ephesians 1:10-11. When a realm without a time boundary meets with the one governed by time, acceleration is activated. This is a season characterized by unprecedented breakthroughs.
  1. Elevation: A shifting up by God where seasons of frustration are all over and anointing for new positioning is released.
  1. Manifestation: Expectation of God’s best and abundance this season.

Bishop Harold Ray brought his sermon to a wrap by speaking prophetic prayers and blessings over the congregation. He also charged the church to go forth and possess their divine inheritance without being weary or discouraged because greater is He that is them than he that is in the world.
