What men would naturally not expect to happen, God will turn it around. It is only with God that such would look like a dream and yet it will still happen.
These were the words of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya at the monthly anointing service held both online and on-site at The
Fountain of Life Church on June 7, 2021.
Taking his opening scripture from the Book of Psalms 126, the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church said that there may be things believers’ may have been trusting God for but yet to see the manifestation, they may be at
the point of almost losing hope; but it is usually at that point of giving up that God shows up just like a dream!
“God will do it in such a way that no one, not even you will share the glory with Him,” he said.
Speaking on the theme for the month “Divine Visitation”, the clergy went ahead to note that divine visitations provoke the glory of God giving instances of such from the scripture. When the widow of Nain was on her way to burying her only son, as recorded in the Book of Luke 7:11-16, Jesus Christ’s interception was a divine visitation.
Sarah’s conception of Isaac was as a result of a divine visitation as seen in Genesis 21:1- 3, and the birth of Naomi’s grandson in Ruth 4:13-17. The Senior Pastor then explained that when God visits, He turns every impossible
situation around. Making water flow in the desert and turning the sea to a dry ground just like He did for the Children of Israel during their exodus from Egypt. In his words,
“When God visits, water flows in the desert; when God visits, you see every of His attribute at work.”
The clergyman urged the congregants to be expectant of God’s visitation because “wherever
you have been held captive, in the same place you have been crying, you will laugh and sing.”
Other scripture references: Jeremiah 27:22; Isaiah 35:1.
