Pastor Taiwo Odukoya
‘If the patriarchs of faith, who had gone on before, got their promises through exercising faith, then today’s believers can obtain God’s promises through faith as well.’
The above assertion was made by the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, while delivering his sermon at the June 17, 2021, Thursday Showers service.
Taking his Bible reference from Hebrews 11, Pastor Taiwo taught that though things may seem impossible and obscure to believers, that does not refute the existence of God’s promises.
According to him, “It is you that will have to engage in constantly speaking God’s word to bring them to pass.”
Pastor Taiwo then cited the example of Abraham, who received and anticipated God’s promise until Isaac was born. Finally, the Senior Pastor stated that there is always more in the future for a believer; noting that believers should never think that there is no more God can do with them. “God has a way of crossing our path to fulfil His purpose,” he concluded.
