Pastor Yemisi Akindolie, speaking from Matthew chapter 20 verse 1 to 16, stated that Jesus showed up at the eleventh hour for some people, who might have given up and gone home or have compromised or even found themselves in a hopeless situation but Jesus is beautiful for all situations, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
According to her, when Jesus hired and agreed on payment with the first set of labourers, He knew what He would do for everyone at the end of the day.
“It will be a level plain. But the labourers did not realize how the level the job will be. God says that His ways are not our ways. When man says it is the end of the road, Jesus says no, this is Jesus Time. It is His time to show up for you. To show forth His faithfulness towards you,” she said.
With Jesus Christ, Pastor Akindolie assured that believers will have a level playing field in spite of the physical mountains and valleys, crooked places and paths.
She said, just as recorded in Psalm 34 verse 19; the story does not end there. God promises to deliver His own out of all trials and troubles.
“Wherever you are right now, it is Jesus Time. No matter how bleak or long the miracle has stayed or how long you have fasted, prayed, or confessed the promises, the scripture says in Hebrews 12 verse 2; Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. He knows the end from the beginning,” the preacher added.
The cleric enjoined her listeners to lay aside every weight, problem, offence, temptation, tendency to compromise, feeling of doubts, discouragement, spiritual laziness, and run with patience the race set before them.
In her words, “Each one of us has a different race from our neighbour. Jesus, for the joy that was before Him, endured. It is only God that determines the track set before each and every one of us. He knows the end from the beginning. He will always make a way of escape for us. He knows exits that we do not know.”
She then reminded the congregants that whatever problems seem impossible, Jesus knows it all. Though it may seem like the end of the road but to Jehovah, there’s no end of the road.
