Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has explained that faith is when believers begin to see beyond the physical, working in the unseen physical with the seen conviction.

He stated this on Sunday, September 12, 2021, in his message at the grand finale of the Emerge Conference 2021, an annual youth event of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC.

Pastor Taiwo, who spoke on the theme of the three-day conference, “The Reawakening”, took his Bible reference from Exodus 33:12-20 and 1 Corinthians 1:26-31.

“Faith is what you begin to see when you have not seen. You can see it because God has said it,” he told the congregation at the church’s headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.

“This, in turn, means your attitude will be like it has happened because of your absolute belief in what His word said.”

The cleric noted that it is God’s habit to reveal things to His children – whether it is about them, the nation, or things around them.

Further explaining that God would show believers things for them to know Him more and for His glory to be revealed, he said, “God deals with us in deferent ways. Just like David and his son, Solomon, our assignments differ. David left some mark that nobody will ever equal, likewise his son, Solomon. David was a man of war. Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived. He enjoyed so much peace during his reign, yet David fought so many battles that he won,” he said.

He urged the congregation to rely on God to fulfil His promises in their lives, adding that any seeming delay is God working in them to bring forth His glory.
