The character of God, to do great things beyond human capacity, has been reiterated by Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos. The cleric’s emphasis came at the September 26, 2021, Sunday service, which coincided with the Family Sunday service, just as he took his Bible passage from Isaiah 43:17 -21.
Pastor Taiwo, who explained that it is important to walk in the knowledge that believers have been created for God’s praise, maintained that “Faith in God and a solid understanding of who we are in Him, creates the avenue for great blessings and interventions in our lives.”
The Senior Pastor declared that only marriage is comparable to the depth of the relationship designed by God to exist between Him and man.
He further admonished that this reality should limit the undue influence or interference of parents over their children’s marriages.
According to Pastor Taiwo, “God created you for His praise. He loves you with unimaginable love, you are His most adorable creation.”
Having a clear understanding of these statements, Pastor Taiwo said, makes a man less engaged in seeking after the validations of men.
Reading from Jeremiah 31:3, Pastor Taiwo re-emphasized the gravity of God’s love to His children, noting that the depth of this love provides unbeatable assurance of victory over every challenge and gang-ups of the devil.
He drew the attention of the congregation to their responsibility to abiding in God’s love; reiterating the magnitude of this love through the unambiguous declarations by the Lord as recorded in John: 15: 9 -12.
“His love confronts evil and destroys every contention against His children,” he noted.
