At The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, worshippers were reminded that God is worthy to be trusted because He is a great God.
They were equally intimated that God has never failed in keeping His Word and promises, and He will not start now.
Speaking during the Thursday Showers of October 21, 2021, the Senior Pastor of TFOLC, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, maintained that, “When God says something, He will do it, no matter what the devil does. God is faithful.”
Taking his Bible reference from Hebrews 10:23, Pastor Taiwo urged Showerians to have a positive attitude by holding fast to God’s Words concerning them.
In his words, “Your attitude towards this faithful God, who will do what He says He would do, is to hold fast to His promises. If someone should give up on you, it’s the devil, not God.”
According to Pastor Taiwo, believing and continuous confessing are ways to hold fast to God’s promises. He, therefore, urged believers to keep on declaring God’s Word over their lives irrespective of their situations.
The cleric added, “Believe and keep saying what God said about your life. Because He who said it is faithful, He will do it.
There was an unusual atmosphere of worship at the Thursday Showers service, as worshippers plunged into over an hour of intense worship led by Pastor Tosin before Pastor Taiwo’s message. Pastor Tosin charged Showerians to praise God for all He has done and has promised to do.
