Members of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, Ilupeju, Lagos have been told that a Christian’s true Love is and should be God.
This was the position of Pastor Oyinda Soderu of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, Ilupeju, Lagos, at the December 26 Sunday second service titled “My true love gave to me.’
Reading from Romans 8:32, 1 John 4: 7 -8 and John 3:16, she emphasized that God is the greatest gift and foundation for all others.
The cleric further noted that the second gift is the blood Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary, adding, “What we are celebrating cost someone dearly.”
While declaring that the Holy Spirit is another gift from “our True Love according to John 16:16, 26,” Pastor Oyinda Soderu noted that an oath was another gift, reading from Hebrews 6:13.
She cautioned that it is dangerous to get too familiar with the Word (which is another gift) to the extent of being dismissive or nonchalant of the awesomeness of God.
The cleric declared, “He gave us His Name, salvation, covenant, power of attorney, peace, true riches, grace, and other diverse gifts.”
Pastor Oyinda Soderu, who insisted that the gifts are a demonstration of God’s unmatchable love for humanity, mentioned Christ’s second coming as the gift of His promise, according to John 14:1 – 3.
She urged the congregation to remain conscious of these gifts and live victoriously, knowing God is faithful to His Word.
