Pastor Atinuke Olasore of The Fountain of Life Church (TFLOC) has reminded believers never to forget the inherent power of God in them.
She said this in her message during the first service on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the TFOLC headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
Pastor Atinuke Olasore, who took her text from Psalm 139, told the congregation that God is always with them irrespective of what they are passing through.
“But you have to call Him. You have to find Him. The Bible says we do not get because we do not ask. The Bible did not promise that we will not get to dark places, but one thing He promises is that He would always be with us,” the cleric said.
The preacher further buttressed her point by citing Jesus’ story when He was about to die on the cross. According to her, Jesus Christ did not give up even in the darkest time but relied on God. This, she said, is the mindset a believer should have to live a victorious life.
“He found God even in His deepest place,” she continued. “What about us? Are they nailing us to the cross?” she queried.
Pastor Atinuke Olasore urged the worshipers not to see themselves as “mistakes”, maintaining that God purposely created them to fulfil a purpose. Furthermore, she told the church not to let human standards define them.
According to the pastor, “God did everything perfectly. God never made a mistake. Some people will say, ‘He made a mistake putting me in this family!’ That is not true!.”
While she conceded that challenges might crop up in a family, she insisted that such situations should not make the believer question God.
“My parents, my siblings, I did not choose them. The child I gave birth to, I did not choose them,” Pastor Atinuke Olasore noted, saying prayer is the antidote to winning life’s battles
