Pastor Omotayo Kujore of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Ilupeju, Lagos, has insisted that Christians still need God’s help so that “we can walk on that path of glory without any fault.
The cleric posited that the interesting thing about life is that it does not only relate to the period of lack but that it equally applies to the period of abundance.
Preaching during the first service of Sunday, March 20, 2022, Pastor Omotayo Kujore, who took his first Bible text from John 5:1-9, while preaching on the topic, “The Lord, my helper”, queried that if God has not built, who can build? If He does not keep watch, who can keep watch?
He stated that no matter how small anything is, God should be involved. The Pastor summarized 1 Chronicles 9 based on the story of Jabez who could not realize his potential and went to God requesting expansion and God heard him because he asked for help and the moment God heard him, everything that looked lost was restored.
The clergyman equally referred to 1 Kings 3:9 wherein he revealed that Solomon the king needed direction and requested it from God.
He emphasized that if God does not help this generation or if we do not seek the blessings of the fathers of faith, there is no moving forward.
Pastor Omotayo Kujore also revealed how to get help from God and anchored it on Psalm 121, which states that “my help comes from the Lord because He is the one in charge of creation.
