Pastor Tunde Malolu has said faith and unbelief don’t work together as he asked believers to rest on God’s Word.

The pastor in charge of The Fountain of Life Church, Worship Tabernacle, said this during his message on the Thursday Showers of April 14, 2022.

According to Pastor Tunde, who took his Bible text from Colossian 2:9-10, Hebrews 4:9-11, James 1:6, and Mark 9, the Word of God is beyond text or words because there is power in the Word.

“Everything God has created has a seed to produce in itself. So, grace has been given unto you, and there is wisdom to access it,” he told the congregation.

While expounding on this, the preacher referenced John 17:1, John 15:8, 2nd Corinthians 3:18, and Galatians 6:17, while telling the worshippers to rest on God’s word.

Rest, which God’s word gives, is not a place of struggle but a place of instruction, he explained.

“You don’t pray for victory: you pray from victory. What we need is instructions, not trying to do; if God has not told you, why are you trying? Let Him that knows the way, lead the way,” he said.

The cleric, however, reminded the worshippers that tests are necessary for growth. According to him, when dealing with God, all that is needed is to stay with God.

“There are levels of glory, don’t let men interpret those dimensions upon your life. What you go through most of the time is assignment-based. God always has a plan; come into agreement with God by your actions,” the cleric added.

Earlier in the service, the Grace Levites led the congregation in a Spirit-filled session of praise and worship.

Pastor Femi Megbope, who was tasked with calling on testifiers, encouraged all present to always treasure relationships and never be ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

In her testimony, a Primary 6 pupil of Corona School Gbagada, Tantoluwa Shanu, recalled God’s faithfulness in passing her common entrance into seven different schools and getting scholarships into two of the seven schools.

On her part, Sister Tina glorified God for how, amid the wilderness, He provided for and took care of all her needs during her fibroid surgery. She also thanked God for restoring her business.
