Believers have been urged never to get weary of taking anything that bothers them to God in prayer.
Pastor Yemisi Akindolie said this while ministering at the May 12 Thursday Showers service at The Fountain of Life Church headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos.
She took her reading from Psalm 65:1-4, Psalm 66:20, Jeremiah 33:3; 34:1-4, and Zephaniah 2:11, noting that prayers should not be limited to oneself but include one’s friends and families, nation, and the body of Christ.
Pastor Yemisi Akindolie, who intermittently led the congregation in prayer sessions, also noted that when believers are united and raise their voices to God concerning their nations, families, and everything around them, God will hear and answer them.
The preacher also quoted Acts 19:20 and Acts 13:8–12 as she led the church in praying for the body of Christ and The Fountain of Life Church. She said that the word of the Lord would prevail and be seen through signs and wonders.
She referenced Jeremiah 29:11 to prophetically declare peace to the lives, families, finances, and every endeavour of the worshippers.
“No evil is permitted to befall anyone; no plague shall come near your dwelling place,” she assured.
She added: “Healing is your portion; divine health is your entitlement. As you seek the Lord, He will reveal His power, righteousness, power, and self to you. The power of the Most High will overshadow you!”
