‘Grace Has Kept Us Standing’ – Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

“There is an outpouring of grace upon us. When glorious grace manifests in the valley, it takes you to the mountain. Thank God for his glorious outpouring of grace over your life and family.

“Grace is an enabler when we are powerless; His grace empowers us for exploits.”

Emphasising the theme for the month: Glorious Grace, the cleric who took his scripture references from Acts 12:1-21, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Ephesians 1:6, Psalm 126, Isaiah 45:2, and Romans 5:17, respectively, referred to how Peter was imprisoned and how the church interceded for him until his release.

Speaking on the efficacy of God’s Grace, which he defined as supernatural favour, Pastor Taiwo revealed that “grace is the reason we are still standing.

Deliberating on grace, the clergyman mentioned that God’s Vineyard — The Fountain of Life Church, is a house of grace. “We are children of His grace. Our confidence is in the grace of God. Grace puts us in the place of thanksgiving. Our intellect, innovation, visions, and creativity are subject to grace. We are a product of God’s grace. So, when the church begins to pray, God moves mightily.

“God will always choose any vessel to use where there is a corporate intercession. He can speak through the person leading, he can speak through a prophecy, and He can speak through a vision. However, God chooses to speak to us; our mandate is to constantly seek His face and obey and believe in His Word,” he said.

Pastor Taiwo admonished the church never to relent in the place of prayer and never limit God’s power over their situations. He posited, “Stop limiting God. He knows the best way to come through for you. Receive that grace of any-way-and-any-how miracles from God over your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
