‘God Is Real’ – Pastor Ronke Aladesuru

Pastor Ronke Aladesuru has admonished Christians to drop all questions or concerns in their hearts and come to the Father with joy.

The preacher gave the charge in her sermon during the first service at The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, in Ilupeju, Lagos State, on Sunday, July 17.

“Jesus is very real and is present in our lives,” she told believers gathered at the church’s auditorium for the service.

Pastor Ronke took her main text from Psalm 34, stating unequivocally that Jesus is not a figment of one’s imagination but someone who exists and is genuine. The clergywoman maintained that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, noting that He is the “I AM.”

The pharmacist, during her sermon, explained the seven ways in which Jesus demonstrated His “I AM” nature.

According to her, John 8:12 described Jesus as the Light of the World, one who can floodlight into any area of confusion or darkness that His children are struggling with.

She continued by saying that John 6:35 showed Jesus as the Bread of Life, feeding the 5000, so He could provide for His own.

“He can also give us both physical and spiritual food so much that we will never hunger or thirst again if we believe in Him,” Pastor Ronke added.

The preacher also quoted John 10:7-9, where Jesus was likened to the door people go through and get salvation; find whatever good thing they desire on the other side of this door.

Pastor Ronke also referenced Psalm 23, John 11:25, John 14:6, and John 15:1–5, where Jesus was portrayed as the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and Life, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and the True Vine. She stated that once believers trust Him, He will lead them into abundance, save their body, soul, and spirit, and grant them eternal life.

The passionate homebuilder reiterated that answers to several life questions are found in these seven “I AM” natures of Jesus.

“There will always be a wilderness period in our lives, but after this is the period of showing, just like in the case of John the Baptist,” she said.

The minister highlighted family, career, and ministry as the three areas where understanding of times and seasons is required.

She maintained: “Understanding family, career, and ministry is critical for success.

“Abigail, in the Book of 1 Samuel 25:3, was a woman of understanding of both the present and future, so she managed the David situation with the required wisdom and saved her family from destruction.”

Continuing, she added that: “King Solomon in 1 Kings 3:6-15 understood what was expected of him as a king, and God gave him the required wisdom to navigate his reign successfully.

“Also, the men of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32 understood the times and knew what to do per time; this made life and ministry easier for them and the children of Israel.”

She reminded the congregation of the need to understand the times and seasons if they are to navigate life successfully as God’s children.

Pastor Ronke, however, admonished believers not to fear because Jesus is real.
