God expects all His children to be bold in asking. The commandment to ask is premised on the divine desire to see each believer live victoriously.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, stated this while ministering during the January 15 Sunday service.

Speaking from Matthew 7: 7–11, Pastor Taiwo, who noted that it is more productive to ask for good things in prayer rather than being engrossed about praying against bad things, added that it is crucial to know that one’s life is in and should be lived in partnership with the Holy Ghost.

The cleric called the attention of the worshippers to the significance of a relationship with the Holy Spirit, noting that relationship is vital to achieving Godly success and arriving in the place of destiny.

He said this would be achievable when believers keep asking without getting weary.

“Jesus’ expectation is that we should ask. Asking is the duty of every Believer,” he said.

The clergyman read from Mark 11:24–25 to warn Christians against unforgiveness, envy, jealousy, and backbiting. According to him, these statuses hinder answers to prayers and stunt the performance of God’s agenda in the life of a believer.

He also explained the dangers of social media and tendencies to follow the crowd. The Pastor urged them to stand with God, noting that standing with God is the most assured way of remaining relevant. The man of God highlighted the fleeting realities of worldly success and the ever-increasing breakdown in societal morals.

In concluding his message, he emphasized the significance of prayer in birthing desired prophetic agenda. He then led the congregation in praying across all the scriptural basis for the year, week, and each believer’s promise for the year.
