‘God Is Unique’ – Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

While ministering at the February 12 Sunday service, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, said that everything attests to the truth that God is the only Factor as revealed in Genesis 1: 1 – 4.

According to the clergyman, if God had not created the earth and all others, there wouldn’t have been anything. He also noted that God is unique and His Spirit always works with Him to accomplish His purposes.

Reading from John 1:1 – 7, Pastor Taiwo taught the congregation to note that all things were made by God. For emphasis, he declared that “there is nothing made or valuable without Him. Whatever He has not made is not allowable. If those things occur, they will neither abide nor endure.”

Pastor Taiwo further noted, quoting Hebrews 1:10 – 12, that the Spirit hovers and God always speak to arrive at His desired position, adding that, without His Word, nothing will materialize into reality.

“The only assured place is in Jesus. It is important to always give God the best and pre-eminent place,” he said.

He continued, “The future is firmly in God’s hands. You must submit to His counsel, not minding losses or negative experiences. Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery. There is the need for absolute trust in God for actualization.”

The Pastor also mentioned that believers must know that God created them for His pleasure and goodness, noting that they must declare affirmatively that “everything God has done about me is good.”

He concluded his message by encouraging his listeners from Ephesians 4:6 -7 to always keep the desire for God afloat, not looking at the realities of the times, advising them on the need to keep looking up to God at all times through prayers and supplications as well as rendering songs of thanksgiving.
