The morning session of Day 2 of the Word Explosion Conference held on Thursday, April 13, at the main auditorium of The Fountain of Life Church was evidence of the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit.
From the praise and worship session to the testimonies of Sumbo Sowande, Kofo Shoyebi, and Oluwatosin Ajibona, of the supernatural intervention of the Holy Spirit in the affairs of testifiers, it was evident that the Holy Spirit is truly God.
The guest minister for the day, Pastor Sola Osunmakinde of the Household of David Church, while ministering, stated that the first person to be mentioned in the scripture, according to Genesis 1:2, is the Holy Spirit.
According to him, the Holy Spirit moved in the beginning and has not stopped moving.
“Without the Holy Spirit, Christianity is impossible. Victory in Christ is by the Holy Spirit,” he said.
Speaking on the message he titled ‘The Seven Spirits of God and The Seven Streams of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit’, the clergyman cited Isaiah 32:15; 59:19, and 2 Samuel 1:21 to note that fruitfulness, protection, and promotion in Christianity are the results of the outpouring and workings of the Holy Spirit.
Also reading Romans 5:5, Ephesians 3:17-20 and Revelation 1:4, 4:5; 3:1, and 1 Corinthians 2:9-12, the man of God said that God’s Spirit is one, but there are seven manifestations of the Holy Ghost, seven streams coming from one Spirit.
According to him, the Holy Spirit comprehends the depth of God, and Christians can also have
the seven dimensions of authority bestowed on Jesus in Revelation 5:12. Pastor Osunmakinde also said that the anointing on a believer would result in teaching, preaching, deliverance, praise and worship, healing, prosperity, and the prophetic, as seen in Isaiah 61:1-3.
“A man that is anointed will manifest in either all or one of these,” he said.
Speaking further on the four dimensions of the prophetic, the clergy noted that there is the gift of prophecy (1 Corinthians 12) which is for the edification and comfort of believers; the spirit of prophecy (1 Samuel 19:20); the office of a prophet (Ephesians 4:11); and word of prophecy which is the Word of God (2 Peter 1:19). He, therefore, urged his listeners to pay attention to the written Word of God.
He concluded his message by citing Isaiah 11:1-2, Zachariah 3:9, and 1 Peter 2:4, after which he said that God desires every believer to possess the seven spirits of God.
“We are living stones. There will come a time when believers will have the fullness of God’s Spirit,” he said.
