The Green Worship, a Worship for Change initiative established by Pastor Wale Adenuga to provide help to the helpless and poor in society, held its sixth edition on Monday, the 2nd of October, 2023 at the main auditorium of The Fountain of Life Church.
Led by Pastor Wale Adenuga, the Worship for Change initiative has helped many Non-Government Organisations and foundations across the country especially financially, and has therefore brought hope to many hopeless children in the foundations.
Among foundations that have benefited from the proceeds of the initiative are; Let the Cerebral Palsy Kids Learn Foundation and Pure Soul Learning Foundation, among others.
As its custom is, the initiative which brings music ministers together in an atmosphere of worship to raise funds for charity, would be giving benevolence to four charity organisations from the proceeds of Green Worship 6.
They are; Let Cerebral Palsy Kids Learn Foundation; To Omo Re School Centre for Special Empowerment, Ilorin; Joy in Africa Foundation, Asaba; and Sedoo Initiative for Children with Special Needs, Abuja.
Ministering at the Green Worship 6, both in songs and spoken words were E Daniels, King James, Wale Adenuga, Gbenga Adenuga, Bob Fitts, Akinade Ibuoye (aka Gaise Baba) and Funto Ibuoye, Tope Alabi, Nathaniel Bassey, the Grace Levites Choir, David Nkennor, Cobhams Asuquo, Moses Bliss, Waje, Anendlessocen, and Greatman Takit.
The event which was anchored by Ayo Mairo Ese and spirit of Saco ended with the hit song, Olowogbogboro, performed by Pastors Wale Adenuga and Nathaniel Bassey.
The Initiative was able to support various foundations across the nation with 15 million Naira seeds from its 5th edition of Worship for Change. It also supported its host, The Fountain of Life Church, with One Million Naira for the Oshodi Boys Project.
