Yemisi and Toyin Akiode have been married for 13 years. For them, married life has been great, though not without its challenges. “Marriage, like every other thing instructed of GOD, requires prayers, Patience and unconditional love”, they say.
When sharing lessons they have learnt from The Fountain of Life Church on marriage, they reveal that one major lesson learnt from being under the teaching of Pastor Taiwo is that of mutual respect, trust and total support of one’s better half.
The Akiodes encourage other married couples to pray together: “The more a couple pray together the better the outputs of their union. It is also imperative to communicate effectively as this closes potential gaps that could affect the solidity of the relationship”, they advise.
