Christians have been urged to be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit within them wherever they find themselves. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya gave this injunction on Sunday, June 9 as he continued his teaching on the Holy Spirit.
Taking his text from Acts 1:1-8, Pastor Taiwo noted that being conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit helps the Christian to live a victorious life. He explained that every Christian, upon being born again, has the Holy Spirit in him but would have to put the Spirit to work to fully enjoy His leadership.
Pastor Taiwo noted that it is with the help of the Holy Spirit a believer can crush the obstacles of life and be a witness for Christ. He also said that the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is all-encompassing and must not be restricted to spiritual life alone. God, he said, is interested in the minutest details of a Christian’s life.
Pastor Taiwo further urged all not to allow the gifts that the Holy Spirit has endowed them with to lay dormant but to put them to use in order to amplify them.
