Impartation of wisdom, according to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is one of the roles of the Holy Spirit as a Helper. He made this known at the December 29 Sunday service in continuation of his series on the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. According to him, every man or woman is created for a purpose; which is to fulfil their God-given assignment on earth, noting that wisdom is needed to fulfill this purpose.
Speaking from John 14:15-18, he said that God is always providing help to His own, so they cannot fail. He further noted that the Holy Spirit will never leave the believer, hence believers should stop feeling destitute. “The Holy Spirit is an ever-ready help by your side and will always be with you and help you,” he said.
Citing the examples of Jesus, Joseph, Daniel, and the three Hebrew boys, Pastor Taiwo noted wisdom dwells in the believer the moment he or she accepts Jesus Christ and have the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Taiwo, therefore, encouraged all believers in Christ to stick with God, shun bad company and manifest God’s wisdom wherever they find themselves. “You can do the miraculous and achieve the impossible because you possess wisdom,” he said.
