‘Develop the God-Kind of Faith’, Pst Taiwo Teaches at Showers Service

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, while admonishing the online participants at the August 6 Thursday showers from Mark 11:20-24 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 said that a God kind of faith is required for believers in order to get results or answers to their prayers. According to him, there are no casual prayers, noting that every prayer a child of God says with the God kind of faith would always be answered.

He also used the account of the woman with the issue of blood recorded in Luke 8:43–48 to say that when a believer can think, believe and speak, taking action by confronting his or her challenges, such a believer would get his or her miracle. “Your mind set defines your life. You can’t be above your mind set. God won’t make you victorious outside of your mind,” he said.

This God-kind of faith, Pastor noted, is gotten by keeping one’s mind stayed on God’s Word. In his words, “Faith comes by hearing, believing, and declaring it. This brings victory. When you develop a mind-set of developing or stopping anything without a doubt in your heart, you will have it. So have the mind-set and thought-life of Christ.”

He finally urged them from Philippians 4:8 to always align their thoughts with God’s thought and word. “God won’t make you victorious outside of your mind. As a believer, set your mind on the things that God has made available to you and has made of you,” he said.
