In continuation of his series on having the attitude of praise to God, Pastor Taiwo at the December 3 Thursday showers said that everything a believer has or desires to become in life hangs around the truth, which is the word of God.
According to him, only what a believer acquires in God lasts forever.
“What matters most is not how people start, but how they finish. For whatever will last, you must be confident of where you started from. Take the word of God and the bible very seriously,” he said.
Speaking from Psalm 40:1-3, Pastor Taiwo, who said that there is a God that listens and hears, maintained that God is ready to meet them at the point of their needs.
He noted that “God answers everybody’s prayers, it is what you look for that you see. You can’t have faith in what you know does not exist and possible.”
While further revealing that every word of God is personal, the clergy maintained that it is only those that receive Him that become the sons of God.
He added, “When God hears, deliverance is automatic. Every revelation brings up a new beginning for you. When you know who you are In Christ, you become confident.”
The Senior Pastor, therefore, urged believers to have a strong foundation on the word of God as that is what gives them power over the enemy.
