Pastor Mary Fayemi, while ministering at the December 24 Thursday Showers asked the congregation to declare that the word of God will not be a waste in their lives and that, every word and promise that God has spoken to their hearts, lives, and circumstances will bring back results.
In continuation of her ministration, she said that a change has to happen in the life of anyone who has Christ. According to her, such a change sometimes can be immediate or gradual.
“When you are in Christ, something has to change. If we are in Christ, we are a new creature, and old things are passed away, and all things are become new,” she said.
Taking her bible reference from 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:18-23, and Mathew 5:12, Pastor Mary said that being fruitful means to be determined to make progress on a daily basis irrespective of the current situation. In her words, “When you are being told to be fruitful, we are saying go and manifest, go and become what God has said you are, go and do what God has asked you to do. I will not remain the same, I may be low today, may be poor today, I may be weak today, but as long as my God lives, my change is here because the word has been spoken.”
Pastor Mary described God as a passionate Father who will not allow His children to go empty-handed. She, therefore, charged them to always abide by the standard of God. “You cannot give up on changing according to the word of God. It is your situation that will bow to the word of God,” she urged.
