A Lagos-based popular penticostal church, The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Ilupeju, Lagos, has expressed dissatisfaction over negative reports presently ravaging Nigeria as a nation, and indeed the world as a whole.
The expression came through Pastor Ronke Aladesuru, who, while making reference to the existence of COVID-19, insisted that despite the negative reports, there shall be deliverance.
Taking her bible reference from Obadiah 1:17, John 9:3-5, John 9:12-14, Psalm 2:1-5, and Isiah 61:1-11, during the Sunday service of January 31, 2021, the clergy informed Fountaineers that there is nothing impossible for God to do.
“We can’t just afford to be careless because there are things that are happening that we can’t understand, and explain.
“With everything happening around us, we should not allow ourselves to be distracted. We should be focused, deliberate, and intentional and work in the power of the spirit,” she said, while preaching on the topic, ‘Contending for our possessions (Tutorials).
Pastor Aladesuru, also urged the worshippers to believe in the efficacy of the word of God, despite the presence of COVID-19, around the world.
She further insisted that it remains a crime not to pray, while explaining the consequences of deception around the believers.
“Not everything that that is good is God. Every choice that is made has to be led by the spirit of God,” Pastor Aladesuru added.
