With the awesome testimonies of God’s faithfulness, supernatural intervention, and provision, the May 27 Thursday Showers service was indeed filled with praises and worship to God.
In his message, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, stated that the present times call for believers to be wise, even as he noted that the worshippers need to be careful about their lifestyle, associations, and conversations because the days are evil.
According to the Senior Pastor, “You can’t just do anything like before anymore. Things are not just the way you see them on the surface. A lot of times, people fight battles they were not called to fight, particularly because of wrong association.”
Speaking from Ephesians 5:15-21, Pastor Taiwo charged the believers to walk with the gift of discernment, adding that discernment is not suspicion. He further explained that discernment is precise, but suspicion is wicked. Pastor Taiwo also admonished Shpwerians to dwell in the Word and the Spirit so that they can be in tune with God and learn to become discerning.
“The Word of God is for all. So we all are to have the ability to discern. The more we dive into the end time as spoken about in the Bible, the more we need the spirit of discernment,” he stated.
Pastor Taiwo urged the congregation not to allow their Word tank to be half full or even empty as this can be dangerous to their life.
