Pastor Taiwo Odukoya
At the June 10, 2021, Thursday Showers of the Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, the church’s Senior Pastor, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, told worshippers that worrying is a sign of distrust in God.
Whilst preaching from the book of Matthew 6:25-34, Pastor Taiwo insisted that God did not create the universe or the systems of the world to stress man, but man has used the gifts and resources given to him to cause stress for himself. He added that this is why humanity worries.
The clergy further posited that God requires His children to have unflinching faith in Him concerning any situation they face, rather than worry. He also noted that the devil knows how to distract Christians, and he uses worry to achieve that.
The Senior Pastor consequently admonished the believers to always appreciate God for what He has done for them and see themselves in the light of what His word says about them.
