Believers have been warned never to worry over anything because worry has a destructive language, making bad things worse and destroying creativity.
The warning came through Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church whilst speaking at the June 13 Sunday service as a continuation of the message he started at the last Thursday Showers.
According to the Senior Pastor, “Worry speaks, and when it fills your heart, you will have no choice but to speak its language. Therefore, those who worry cannot be trusted because worrying is a sign that you don’t even trust God.”
Preaching from Matthew 6:25-33, Proverbs 11:14, Philippians4:6 and Psalm 1:1, the clergy stated that believers need to approach God with thanksgiving even as they make their request known to Him. “Jesus has the final say. So, when He says, don’t worry, then don’t worry,” Pastor Taiwo noted.
He continued by saying that when believers seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness first, then worry will not be permitted in their hearts because all other things would be added to them.
