Pastor Omolara Adesanya of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, has again reminded Christians that they are special and should never write themselves off irrespective of the situation.

This was the crux of her sermon, “Let God Define You,” at the church’s second service on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Citing Prophet Samuel’s anointing of David in 1 Samuel 16, she said every child of God is special and should not allow anyone to run them over and make them feel disqualified.

“You are special, and God has placed something in you that no one sees, but God sees,” she told the congregation at the service held in Ilupeju, Lagos State.

The cleric explained that there was a reason for everyone’s creation, urging believers to focus on fulfilling their purpose and not give in to intimidation.

“Don’t write yourself off. Whatever God has placed in your hands and where He has placed you, know that God has something for you,” the preacher added.

According to her, a believer’s mentality concerning their purpose must align with God’s, or else it would be impossible to achieve it.

She said: “If God says something about you, you must align your mindset towards it to fulfil it. If you have a royal mindset, there is nothing you can’t achieve. And Jesus is that royalty you must have in you.”

Also reading from Matthew 21:28–31, Pastor Omolara said a mind with a defeatist mentality cannot achieve a remarkable feat, noting that one’s mindset is critical to achieving their purpose.

“The mindset you have will carry you a long way, and that will be revealed by what you always say,” she said.

The chartered accountant and an alumnus of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University thus urged Christians not to give in to negative words but to believe what God has said about them and walk with boldness to achieve it.

Earlier in the service, Pastor Yemisi Akindolie, while reading the Promise for the Week – 2 Corinthians 2:14, told the congregation that God will diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge through them.

According to her, believers are change agents whom God uses to diffuse His power and knowledge in solving problems around them.

According to her, believers are change agents whom God uses to diffuse His power and knowledge in solving problems around them.

“We are change agents. You will make a difference in your family, community, and school because the power of the Most High God will overshadow you and make a difference through you in your surroundings,” she declared.

“The Lord will use you to showcase the knowledge of His saving, delivering, manifest, and healing power to the world! Whatever that situation is, He will manifest through you and use them to diffuse His power to the world!”

As usual, the July 17 second service also featured high praises, worship; prayers for Nigeria; Christians, and the leadership of TFOLC headed by Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.
