Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has charged the worshippers to not think of the impossible simply because experts or the world say so.

The Senior Pastor, The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), said this while ministering at the September 15, 2022, Thursday Showers service.

He told the congregation at the TFOLC headquarters in Ilupeju that “what the world says may be fact, but we serve a God of the miraculous, we serve a God whose truth is final.”

The cleric continued: “If God is interested in one thing in your life, it is for His glory. He loves to be glorified. Is it in your giving, getting, or living? Let it glorify God”.

With references from Psalm 118:1, 24; Genesis 2:19-20; Philippians 4:4; and 1 Peter 5:8 and Chronicles 16:27, he said God makes things by calling them forth. According to him, His creative Spirit in Adam made him (Adam) name all the living creatures. And whatever he called them is what they are still called.

Citing the Psalmist in Psalm 118:24, he said the devil’s tricks involve making believers sad, adding that such is meant only to deceive them. He urged them to decree and declare God’s truth to them irrespective of the situation.

“You should decree and declare your gladness in whatever situation,” he said.

Pastor Taiwo added that “the Psalmist was deliberate in decreeing his joy in Psalm 118:24: “This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice in it. As a Christian, the joy of the Lord is your strength”.

Faith, according to the preacher, is a declaration.

“Until it is declared, it is not faith. The facts may be what they are, but you must decree what the Word of God says in your situation,” he posited.

The clergyman urged the worshippers to always clothe themselves with the joy of the Lord because that is where their strength lies, as recorded in Psalm 16:11.

“Strength and joy are found in His sanctuary. The joy of the Lord is the city of refuge. Joy is a force and an anointing. Therefore, let the joy of the Lord be your strength,” he told the worshippers.
