Parents have been urged to make positive declarations over their children irrespective of the children’s present realities. This admonition came from Pastor Taiwo Odukoya at the May 26 Sunday service which was dedicated to commemorate and celebrate the Children’s day. “Don’t transfer your frustrations on the children, calling them names. Declare a glorious tomorrow on your children no matter how bleak it looks,” he said.
Anchoring his message on Isaiah 8:18, pastor Taiwo said that parents have the responsibility of holding unto God’s words concerning their children and declaring those words over them continually. “It is your responsibility as Christians to hold on to what God has declared concerning your children. Nobody is responsible for making your prophecy come true, If God has said it, then it shall come to pass,” he said.
Expressing optimism about the future of the country, he urged everyone to continuously pray and hope for the best for our nation, Nigeria.
He ended the service with prophetic declarations on the children and the members in general.
