Pastor Yemisi Akindolie of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, Ilupeju, Lagos, has said that one of the attributes of God is that he plans for his children and loves them with an unusual and sacrificial love. According to her, God provides for his children according to the abundance of his riches.
Speaking from Luke 11:1, while citing the example of Samaria, where things were tough, hostile, and evil but which was turned around for good, the clergywoman noted that God protects, defends, and comforts his children.
“God is always present in the lives of his children in both good and bad times,” she said.
Pastor Akindolie further stated that God is mindful of the fact that none of his children has ever navigated the terrain of the earth before; therefore, he guides them with the help of the Holy Spirit.
The Pastor also mentioned that an important attribute of God is the fact that he chastens and disciplines his children. She enjoined the church not to despise being reprimanded by God but to rather hearken diligently to his word and commandments, noting that all of God’s attributes are encompassed in the fact that he loves his children.
According to her, “Don’t be distracted. Spend time meditating on the word of God such that you may acquire wisdom to guide yourself and your children by Godly wisdom.
“God wants to show himself strong in every area of the lives of his children. Therefore, ensure that righteousness reigns in your hearts and homes and that God is honoured in every aspect of your lives.
