The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC, Ilupeju, Lagos, has declared that believers should understand the essence of their existence.
The church made the declaration, through Pastor Yemisi Akindolie, at the September 5 Sunday first service, even as she maintained that believers should understand the essence of their existence.
According to her, believers didn’t find themselves on earth on their own accord, but by God’s purposefulness.
“Through the Holy Spirit, we identify and know the wisdom that is beneficial to us as Christians,” she said.
Taking her text from 1 Corinthians 2:6-10, the cleric explained that God knows every stage of His children’s existence and what they are going through.
She noted that some of those challenges are ordained by God from the beginning of their existence to bring Him glory.
“It is the folly of man to consider the things of this world as the limit of enjoyment, sometimes our brain can elicit things that are not real, but God says to depend on Him for our lives.
“We cannot debate the wisdom of God; we can only accept it to help us navigate the issues of life. Even an affliction should not be given any power over our lives because if that happens, the affliction will have power over the afflicted. There is always a way of escape from whatever it is,” the clergy stated.
Pastor Yemisi Akindolie advised Christians to desire the sincere milk of the Word of God so that wisdom will not be far from them, stating that this will enable them to successfully navigate through life in wisdom.
“It is an insult to God for a child of God to allow the criticisms of man bring him or her down. It is wisdom that will help us overcome this. You should always remember that you are God’s creation and He has placed great value on you. So, do the same to yourself,” the preacher told the gathering.
