Man’s will sometimes stands in the way of God occupying the hearts of His children, but if they can surrender their will to Him, He would take over and charge of their hearts and lives.
This position was made known by Pastor Lara Adesanya during the second service of Sunday, January 6, where she further added that “It is not possible to be transformed from glory to glory as recorded in 2nd Corinthians 3:18 if the stage of our lives is not opened to God.
“Until we leave the stage and allow God to take over, the script for our lives may not be written, but if we live in the glory of God, our acts will be futuristic of God of which men may not be able to fathom.”
Speaking from Psalm 119:130, the clergywoman posited that the word of God is the illuminating light believers need to move from glory to glory.
According to her, “The vehicle to get to the glory of God is to let go of our choice and give God the Leeway.”
She went further by saying that Christians reference Him by loving and having the fear of God in them and releasing themselves to God because He is the way, the truth and the life.
“Our acts of worship and meditation on God’s word us to Him,” she added.
Pastor Lara Adesanya also explained that the glory of God shows when believers carry the encounter they had with God in them everywhere they go, noting that people must always have a positive encounter with them whenever they meet with them, just as Matthew 5:12-16 admonishes.
The preacher concluded by encouraging believers to always live in Christ, whether convenient or not, noting that there are so many promises when they live and reflect His glory.
“God will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places as recorded in Isaiah 45:3. Although the treasures may be covered in darkness, God will reveal them to you. However, the onus is on you to dig deep into the word of God,” she urged.
